Donzier Digital supports Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVCs) to access quality education and healthcare. We achieve this through donations from well-wishers to create a significant impact on the lives of children. In Kenya, orphaned and vulnerable children often endure great hardships and indignities. For many of these children, basic needs are unaffordable luxuries, and the key pillars of life are but cruel, unattainable illusions. Worse still, they often have their most fundamental right – the right to life – threatened and violated. But your donation could make a big difference in the life of a child. You could help them improve their quality of life and shape their future by donating and partnering with us.
Donzier Foundation is a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Programme by Donzier Digital in Kisumu County. Kisumu County is a Kenyan inland Port City on Lake Victoria. It is one of the 47 Counties in the Republic Of Kenya. The programme was largely influenced by the need to address the increasing number of non-school going children and street kids in Kisumu City due to socio-economic challenges and retrogressive cultures. Donzier Foundation aims to ensure quality education and healthcare provision, promoting life skills training and capacity building, and advocating for better quality of life, for the disadvantaged group of children in the community.
We admit children within the age bracket of 7-15 years annually (primary and high schools) through applications, searches and referrals, and we support them until University/College level. Some may be adopted from the streets. Every child admitted into this program is adequately processed to capture their profiles and background information, an evaluation that is extensively carried out within their neighborhoods and sometimes, with the help of local authorities and religious organizations to establish the facts, we even visit and conduct interviews. Therefore, we settle on extreme cases of need as a matter of priority.

We do not have a stable source of funds or official sponsors. We entirely depend on Donzier Digital contributions and, in-kind donations from willing partners and/or donors. We reach out to willing individuals or organizations to partner with us in this venture. We then attach a child to an individual or group of not more than four (4) individuals to make regular Contributions (weekly or monthly) towards his/her support. We provide monthly reports to all our partners or sponsors regarding the status and progress of each child attached to them and contributions made towards their support.
All finances are verified and approved as a matter of priority for transparency, accountability and effective use. Each child is supported with annual school fees to a given limit payable in three cycles/terms. We also allocate school uniforms and exercise books annually. The parent/guardian can top up any possible remaining amount. Â Each child gets healthcare support in case of illness. Donzier Digital organizes periodic workshops, life skills trainings, motivation and capacity building, talent promotion and community programmes for all children admitted into the project. Also, our staff members are sent to schools to asses and report on the status of each child in their respective schools, every month.
An individual or organization can register to become a partner, a sponsor or a donor. Donors can contribute any amount regularly, while all partners and sponsors are required to state the regular contribution they can make monthly; Ksh.1,000 to Ksh.20,000 for partners and, above Ksh.20,000 for sponsors. Any partner or sponsor can request to meet the child at their own possible logistics costs, a process that must be facilitated and supervised by Donzier Digital staff. We issue certificates of appreciation to all partners and sponsors at the end of each year.
